Not really a fair thing to say. Although his star peaked in the '70s, the dude still kept appearing in every show imaginable. He did a lot of voice acting work.

He originally played gruff big guys with a heart of gold. But he was a colossal asshole in real life. He was basically a huge SJW before that term existed, speaking out in support of black dudes that killed cops. Later in life he got even uglier and played villains, which better reflected his true personality. Last thing I saw him in was as Johnny's evil step-dad in Cobra Kai.

Yeah you're right, after my initial scouting of movies from the stone age I found that he voiced Hudson from Disney's Gargoyles, 2 villains from Captain Planet & Jonah Jameson in the 90's Spudimon cartoon.
