Re: Star Whores: Diverse Agenda
The prequels did have the advantage of coming out after the originals as opposed to, well, after the prequels.
Re: Star Whores: Diverse Agenda
Retard alert...
Anyone with half a brain rates all 3 disney SW movies in the bottom 3 of all sw movies, theyre pure garbage not even 20% of the level of the prequals (who wre 50% of the OT )

Star Wars is a great film with a great sequel followed up by a somewhat adequate third and final installment.

The only box office list that actually means anything.

Re: Star Whores: Diverse Agenda
It's the opposite for the prequels. The first one is bad (with an admittedly awesome light saber duel at the end), the second one is mediocre and the third one is okay-ish.da PAC Nigguh wrote: ↑Fri Mar 30, 2018 4:53 pmStar Wars is a great film with a great sequel followed up by a somewhat adequate third and final installment.

Re: Star Whores: Diverse Agenda
There was some pretty great vidya.
TFA had the advantage to follow the prequels. Such a piss poor movie with shit characters and yet all one heard was "at least it's better than the prequels" for a while.
Rogue One wasn't even Star Wars and doesn't count.
Disney had everything going for them by that point. They mostly got away with a shit SW movie and had TLJ been any good people would've let that one slip. Instead, TLJ is a dumpster fire. I've heard young normalfags IRL call it a clusterfuck pile of shit. It was stylistically designed to be that way and there was nobody in charge to try and diminish the effects of it.
Initially, yes. But not after all three were out. The hopes for an actually good prequel were squashed.

I dunno, Return of the Jedi is my favourite of all of them.

Re: Star Whores: Diverse Agenda
Damn right, inflated prices means all this "record box office" stuff is a load of shit. Looking at that list shows you people don't go to the movies like they used to, partly because of home entertainment being much better, partly because going to the movies are fucking expensive when entertainment today is cheap as fuck and also because movies for a long time now are generic as fuck and aren't worth seeing. The only two movies in the past 10 years I saw solely to see them and not because I was already out and wanted to cap off my day were the recent Bladerunner and The Dark Knight back in 2008. Every other time I saw a movie because I was there, that's how little movies excite me and the general public today. Look at the top 30, only Force Awakens (star wars nostalgia), the first Avengers and Jurassic World (nostalgia) crack it, and none of them are in the top 10.Liar Revealed wrote: ↑Fri Mar 30, 2018 5:11 pmThe only box office list that actually means anything.
