I dunno. Editor seems pretty ass-ravaged to me. They can both die in a fire
The editor really shouldn't have been including random political shit in his edits. It's obvious they are asshurt. Saying "this diminishes your authority" or "excessive crude humor adds nothing" is fine. Saying "have you seen a trump rally" makes you sound butthurt.
But Milo is still a hackfraud and I'm sure any editor worth their salt would have shredded his manuscript. He fell victim to the same disease as S argon, wherein the internet lavished praise upon him until he came to believe he was more intelligent than he actually is.
A lot of Milo's gimmick is piling insults and adhoms in a catty way on his political opposition. Which worked great to stir up college campuses, but isn't so effective when you want others to take you seriously. The best he can hope for is a shitty talk radio deal like Rush Limbaugh.

Going the Patreon route isn't feasible for Milo; they'd probably kick him out of the platform because he's an icky Trump supporter.

Probably true enough. Look at the mental gymnastics they did to justify kicking 8chan off the platform

Imagine spending a billion US dollars to be a loser. Could've watched animu and be one for free.

Not only that; they went so far as to preemptively ban anyone that had any connection to Frederick Brennan - when Null tried to start a Patreon for the (doomed) Infinity Next project, they specifically told him that they wouldn't allow it because of his proximity to Hotwheels.

I find it interesting that blatant scammers such as Spoony can remain on crowdfunding platforms, but right-wingers and unpersons can't.

I find it interesting that they will bitch and moan and cry bloody murder endlessly when Christian bakeries won't bake their gay wedding cakes because it goes against their beliefs or whatever. But if you're right wing, a Trump supporter or, in some cases, literally a Trump (as Melania found out when she tried to get a famous fashion designer to make her a dress for the inauguration), they find it perfectly acceptable to refuse to serve you or associate with you

All of this.
The argument of the editor being pozzed or asshurt is horseshit. There are plenty of conservatives, hard-liners in fact, with books by high end publishing companies. What happened with Milo is essentially the fag dangerhair version of Doge turning in a movie to Hollywood in the hopes of it getting major distributing.

He may have caught it at the same Bilderberg-Illuminati meeting as Prince Albert in a Can. I guess lizardmen aren't immune.

I'm not so sure about that since plenty of anti-SJWs make money on that platform. And even then he could have set it up on his own site directly rather than go through patreon like how alt right people have. For a former tech editor he sure knows fuck all about the internet.
Milo used to be more formal in the really early days of gamergate and ironically said he hates it when people make the story about themselves in 2014. Milo isn't Miscarriage of Acchild, he actually is intelligent but lately he has gotten lazy with the catty gay insults rather than anything of substance. His time on Bill Maher pissed me off since he just called the other panelists dumb like a smug cunt when I have seen him debate academics and not look stupid. when one prick was pushing the "muh Russia" narrative he just laughed at him like a goon.
I thought the scandal would have humbled him a bit but nope, he's 100% performer now.

Which ones?
A run of the mill anti-SJW could probably do it. But not Milo. He's so well known and has gotten so many of their ilk assravaged that Patreon would find
some contrivance to prevent him from using the platform. Look at his Twitter ban. They banned him for organising harassment when he did nothing of the sort. At worst all he did was piss off a celebrity but Twitter won't say that's what they banned him for even though it's well known that they worship celebrities and try to create a safe space for them.
With Patreon, going back to 8chan, they had Zoe 'The Cunt' Quinn and the other usual suspects ree at them for allowing 8chan to be on there, so Patreon found some contrivance to kick them off. I forget what their final reasoning was. Enabling child abuse or something specious.
