Reprint of the body worked well! Only thing I discovered wrong is the magnet holding the main gun is a little too deep, a second magnet added fixed it, but I hopefully modified that so future prints won't have the issue.

And the hoverskirt pegs were tight and kept things in place!

Still had to glue half the hoverskirt together first, but those pegs were tight, as well, so everything held together in place while the super glue did its thing - and that's going to be essential for when I sell copies of this body. I want to make this as easy as possible during assembly.

I guess I'm a little impressed he's making his own stuff, and not sitting back waiting for someone to hand him a job like Marzgurl. I mean it's stupid and he'll maybe sell 3 or 4, but it's something.

I think it's both. He's 3D-printing his robot sidekick's new body because it's easier/cheaper for him, and he's planning to sell more copies as "show accurate" merch.
He'd be an idiot of he sold them pre-assembled, so that's probably what he's gonna do.

He hasn't talked about the current status of his storyline in a long while, but unless things have changed (which they probably haven't, otherwise he wouldn't be so suspiciously silent on the topic), it's like this:

• He can't start the next storyline until he is finished with the Contest of Champions storyline compilation.
• Because that one will include the elusive CGI space race segment.
• Except it will never leave the render queue.

He's very dead set on that stupid race, and those other actors involved with the Contest finale must've set some kind of ultimatum for him to skip it like that. Or a part of him realized it's a lost cause, and he's just coping with that compilation.
He's probably better off just paying an artist to scribble together some comic-style panels of the race. Or make some cheap flash animation. 'Cause I'm pretty sure the race, should it ever be done, will ever be worth the wait.

Or fuck it. At this point he's better off just copying Phealous and using some toy cars and his new action figures to recreate the race

Before the epic YGO duel there was supposed to be an amazing space race segment. Except he had to skip it. Because this galaxy brain doesn't like filming/animating shit too far in advance, which is kinda terrible when dealing with CGI sequences.
