Read a variety article on Captain America: Brave New World, and what I was able to gleam are four more shockers!

-Harrison Ford didn't like making Marvel movies and was a difficult grump on set.

-Marvel was going back and forth about sticking a third villain in there (the Serpent Society, for VORP's reference).

-The reshoots are tied to going back and forth on that third villain, the action sequences. The variety interviewee says they don't look 'believable' (code for the visual effects suck).

-A lot of the people working the reshoots say the director was an amateur who wasn't prepared to do this.
