After three weeks of an unrelentling heat wave that had not a single day below 40C/104F at noon and made me into even more a recluse hermit that didn't want to leave the air conditioned room, finally we had some respite in form of a rainy, cool Sunday. It was so good I just doozed off sitting on a chair on the porch, enjoying the sound of the rain and the breeze. I think it's the first time in months that something went right for me, so I enjoyed this climatic victory more than I should have in normal circumstances.
