My favorite metal is Disco Metal.

I believe that Static-X at some point called their music (aka nu-metal/early Ministry-White Zombie ripoff) Disco Metal or something equally retarded, and frankly their only good/decent album is their first one:



Pretty much all of their sets contained a lot of songs from the first album, even after they replaced the singer because the original one croaked.

Their last actual hit was The Only from the 2003 album Shadow Zone. That's pretty late to be sort of relevant for actual Nu-Metal, I guess. Coal Chamber and Limp Bizkit never made it past the millennium.
