I am laughing because this movie is doing worse than the Marvels. It has made 48 million worldwide on its opening weekend. And like all Disney movies has a bloated known budget of 200 million. This is another huge bomb in the making for them.

These lazy digital animation dreamworks shitpiles are in the same position as Mahvul capeshit. They've pumped out so many of them and they're so mediocre/boring that people have tuned the fuck out.

And I'll give you that, Jaime is certainly one of the more creative new capeshitters in recent years. Usually they're just "I'm like [name], but more diverse", or "I'm like [name], but female" (with a strange sub-category for chicks called "Gwen" who will let you know they are called "Gwen" by also incorporating it in their capeshitter name). Jaime on the other hand is simply Guyver, and/or basically Cyborg without the existential nightmare stuff.

Because Disney has completely lost its identity. People can't tell Pixar and Dreamworks apart and neither have the status they once had after too many bland, forgettable movies.

The Jungle Book was a world class animation movie and a big event. I've been to it with my father and we got the VHS as soon as it was available. Everyone knew several of the songs, Balu the bear, Ka the snake and so on. It had significant cultural impact.

None of that is true for most other shit today. Little kids loved the Minions and Frozen was a hit with little girls. But there's about a dozen CG movies by Disney now that nobody even remembers.

Ditching their trademark 2D animation for 3D was their death sentence. Their stuff lost a lot of its charm, and shit's just samey.
The only functional difference between Disney and Pixar is that the former make musicals. It makes little sense for them to still be separate studios in Current Year.
The only functional difference between Disney and Dreamworks is that the latter is less pandering*, more self-aware and prefers radio songs.

*) At least from what I've seen. No idea about their 2023 output.

Elon Musk went on a barely coherent ramble at some event and publicly said that advertisers are trying to "blackmail" him and told "Bob" (presumably Iger) to "fuck himself". He seems to imply that, if Twitter goes bankrupt (a likely scenario, I think), "Earth" will blame the elites pulling advertising from it and not his own bumbling retardation - seriously, if you happen to watch he talking, you'll mostly likely than not conclude that he's completely losing it. I don't know if he's smoking marijuana in industrial scale or if he already promoted to other drugs that are ravaging his brain cells, but if I was working for him or invested in any of his companies, I'd be scared shitless for the future. That's NOT the kind of mind would want leading the economic fight against the Left, because he's going to lose and lose badly.
