It just looks really bad.

Hate to name drop - but CosmonautNigger was right - the shows good bc it’s animated. Odas style isn’t going to translate at fucking all - if that wasn’t obvious before, it sure as shit is now.

Shinichiro Watanabe has a new animu coming out next year called Lazarus.

Netflix is really shilling this adaptation hard. BR Luffy is on the cover of the latest Jump issue, Oda did a color spread referencing Netflix, and they even had Luffy’s VA give her blessing to the young hue as a worthy Luffy.

So you basically have literal animated manga panels in one scene, and suspicious 3D models in another. Can't these Itou animu adaptions just stop it with the 3D?

It looks better than the previous adaptations, i just hope they won't change the plot and characters like in that shitty Gyo movie.
