That's the whole point. Battery-powered electric cars are a dead end technology to begin with. Neither can we dig up lithium fast enough, nor does enough exist in the first place. Not to mention you're competing with everything else that has a battery, which seems to be fucking everything these days.

Pay 60k for a car worth 30k, get told you can't replace the battery that'll be fucked in five years due to all the high amp charging and then get absolutely fucked, kiddo!

Look no further than trucks. Those won't go away and the entire industry will think you're a drooling retard if you even suggest to go with batteries.
