Also how Disney handles making a Star Wars trilogy.
And how the works of Paul Feig are made.
As I understand it, there's even less planning involved with those and actors just show up and say what they want.

At least that wasn't a three part movie production with zero planning, set to continue the entire franchise.
With a conclusion that is the worst movie of all nine SW's.

Part 8 and 9 are some of the most miserable sci-fi experiences I ever had. Burnt my passion for Star Wars right out of my black heart.

The prequels did that for me, guess I should thank Lucas. It's comical by this point how SW and ST fags still expect always the next show to be "finally good". Always the upcoming star warts show will be good, just how only the coof shot that you haven't got yet is the one that will protect you.
It's a trap!

I'm amazed you watched them in the first place

I didn't have to pay a dime to watch them, and there was admittedly a morbid curiosity to see just how bad things really were.

I've been taken for a ride by the prequels and have sworn to never watch a Star Wars movie again.
Easiest to keep pledge ever.

There literally hasn't been a good Star Wars film made the entire time I've been alive.

As it should be expected. It's a series of dumb stories about space wizards dueling with laser swords and men wearing plastic armor shooting pew-pew laser pistols. What's there to tell a good story about? The original movie ("Episode IV") told the best fairy tale story you could tell about such setting; the rest was just piling nonsense over nonsense.

Last Jedi isn't good, and I never want to watch it again. When I think about the true death of Star Wars (aside from the originals being basically unavailable) - RoS comes to mind sooner.

I'm honestly shocked at the fact that Attack of the Clones looks palatable by comparison.
