Multiverse of Madness only sort of disrespects Raimi - which is surprising. I thought they were going to 100% stick him on an assembly line, but I would say it turned out to be 55-60%.
Raimis directorial choices are it’s best asset and it’s worst asset is America Chavez lmao. We’re probably still ten years away from modern Mahvel tanking the MCU - but you can tell it’s inevitable.

It’s got some pretty good violence - more evil dead touches than even Raimis Spider-Man - but it has different issues.
The first act is bad - a lot of on the nose writing and too many jokes (although this at least has a Bruce Campbell cameo - which was the only joke in the thing that made me laugh) - and America Chavez sucks in about every capacity.
Mr Fantastic gets turned into spaghetti, a dude gets his head exploded and black captain marvel gets crushed by a statue.
