It's been clear the franchise is FUBAR ever since Diablo 3. No surprise here.
And apparently they're also ripping off Sacred (or I guess WoW) because there's gonna be mounts.
Also notice how all the 4 classes announced thus far are from previous games - including the bland D&D Rogue from the 1st one, when Diablo 2 had two more interesting alternatives (Amazon and Assassin).

I think if they wanted to do that they'd have done it twenty years ago. Microsoft basically bought their way into the industry in the first place.
