It's Myanmar. This happens like every other month.

Yea and I'm not entirely sure why either. The military essentially runs Egypt, has for decades. Having the military running things actually keeps Muslims inline.

Because the military claimed their most recent election was fixed, so they had a coup and unseated their State Counsellor. The MSM is claiming that General Flynn said the same thing could happen in America, or wondered aloud why it couldn't.

The military has ruled Myanmar before, from 1962 to 20-fucking-11.

Not really. The United States has become a banana republic just like BurmaVoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Thu Jun 03, 2021 5:01 amComparing their unique and wonderful culture with the situation in the States is just retarded.
Re: God Emperor Megathread (Trump and his presidency)
It's incredible to me that this guy still thinks he has a political career
Re: God Emperor Megathread (Trump and his presidency)
He plans to run in 24. Watch them make him the GOP nominee out of pure spite.

Of course he does. Too bad for him he's made himself politically homelessGuest wrote: ↑Fri Jun 04, 2021 5:02 pmHe plans to run in 24.
Republicans aren't like Democrats, they don't have the political savvy for that.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Jun 04, 2021 5:02 pmWatch them make him the GOP nominee out of pure spite.
They couldn't even stop Trump from getting the nomination in '16, despite their loud and frequent protestations as well as rigging Ohio for Kasich.
They would much rather give the nomination to Trump, or whichever MAGA candidate (probably DeSantis) if Trump doesn't run, sabotage him and then say 'see, this is why you should have supported our Establishment Neocon RINO candidate instead'

I still maintain that DeSantis should skip the 24 election and just remain king of Florida for now.

Re: God Emperor Megathread (Trump and his presidency)
That's probably for the best, however, the GOP may not have another name for 2024. It relies on Trump being both viable and still high energy enough to run again (he'll be almost 80 by then). Ironically, I think that if Joe Biden croaks or "gracefully resign" due to "health concerns" (aka "is sacked by the Deep State to stop embarrassing them"), that will sink Trump's chances in 2024 - would you (as in, average burger voter) risk having two presidents in a row not completing their terms?
