Also, pumpkinspice doesn't have any pumpkin in it.
Does it have spice?

Ah, so it was just the spice used in desserts containing pumpkin. Silly me. Pretty cool that you grow stuff in general.

Not much, though. Usually just a few tomatoes, cucumbers and a couple of herbs. The hokkaido were just a try since we had seeds left from a damaged one in our store.
We had already forgotten about them, found them in the cupboard in the plastic box they were in and gave it a try.

The plants get beautiful flowers as well.

It is common for Germans with a big enough garden (or an allotment) to grow their own stuff, even if it's just some herbs.
This craft will probably be lost in a few generations, seeing how I wouldn't even trust the new generation with a cactus.

"Growing your own vegetables" is a non-essential activity according to governments all around the world.

Vegetables are a luxury bro. Along with water, shelter and jobs that pay a living wage.

Brown Brothers Dry Muscat

Pretty good and cheap white wine. Goes excellent with Asian foods. Just drank a bottle with some excellent hotpot.

What do you eat when you know you need to eat something but don't want anything?
