We are all aware that the forum is currently pretty fucked. That posting error seems to get worse and worse.

Oldfags may remember 2.0 and why we moved. The forum was getting less and less stable in a similar fashion. We don't want that to happen again.

Valiantly, after much prodding and months of this issue persisting, Poonoo, ever so the typical, unproductive, lazy Mediterranean overlord of this forum, has been convinced to do what he dreads most: a chore.

He'll attempt to update the forum software on Monday. As he stated that announcing that might just pressure him into actually doing it, I thought a public announcement might work even better. You're welcome, Poonoo!


Either way, there is no saying if this will fix the forum. Sadly, phpBB is about as current as OS/2 with code held together by cum and lollipop sticks.
Poonoo may also fuck up the updating. It wouldn't be the first time.
But know that an honest attempt will be made on Monday. Expect downtime and possible cataclysm.
