Idiots who act like a number change suddenly resets everything are the some tards who say shit like "I wish 2020 would just end already!" whenever some over-the-hill celebrity they hadn't thought about for ten years suddenly dies, as if an arbitrary number humans assigned to a calendar has sentience and is actively hunting them.
An arbitrary date marking the beginning of a new unit of time measurement. I'm sure this will have a profound effect on naturally occurring events.

Too many people are too autistic about arbitrary systems of time measurement. Remember when people got TSD in 2012 because the Maya calendar would just run of years out or something.

You just wait until 2038 then, when the 32-bits Unix Timestamp will pad around back in time and will surely cause the apocalypse this time, because 32-bit operating systems will still be a thing by then. Hopefully the problem will be too difficult to explain to normalfags, however, so they won't be able to make.movies out of it.

You do realise that these two things have nothing to do with each other, don't you?

So it's a bit like all perpetual calendar watches not being able to handle 2100?

Well, yeah, but it's not like the problem was ever present on 64-bit OS unless you're talking about, I don't know, a C program compiled on a really old GCC version running on a 64-bit OS, I guess.

Idk what a Unix is, but I know what Linux is! Am I smert yet, DHI? All I know is to type swear words and slurs into computers. I'd say I'm still far ahead of the Boomers though, and ironically the Zoomers who only know Twitter and Tiktok.
