Have to have a tooth pulled today. Tooth feels fine, but dentists insist it's fucked up at the root and has to go. This sucks. Getting an implant to replace it... tissue from dead people will be used.

So, I felt fine when I had the "bad" tooth. They pulled it and now I feel like shit. It's always sore, and they only gave me like a week's worth of hydrocodone and refuse to give me more. Those pills are long gone. It's going to be many months before they can put in a replacement tooth... probably not until next year.

Yeah. I saw two different dentists, the normal one and the surgeon. But they're probably friends.
I had a friend that is a dentist, but he unfriended me from Facebook during the culture war. I'd would have liked to go to him, but I don't think he'd want to see me now.

I paid $4000 to learn that the hard way.

Short story of it is dentists #1 put in an expensive crown and fucked up putting it in. They left all the dead, decaying nastiness in there. So putting a crown on did nothing except mold that shit closer to the nerve. Then they wanted to hide the truth from me and lied about why I had to have the crown redone. But not before spending a couple YEARS lying to me and telling me nerve pain after a crown was normal.

Got a second opinion, second dentists realized first dentists fucked up and wouldn't admit it. So I had dentist #2 do the recrown and they did a perfect job. No more pain.

I recommend looking for a specialist when you have expensive dental work done. Don't use the same dentist who does your cleanings. Not unless the work they're doing is free or you trust them. Don't fuck around with nerve pain.
