Just heard a loud pop. Smelled something weird, like a lit fart, just a bit later.
Apparently, it's coming from my ice cube machine. But it's running just fine right now. Very odd.

It smells like burnt bacon. Best case scenario, some fly managed to get sucked in and burned on some electric component.
Worst case, coolant is leaking and vaporized. Very odd smell either way.

Just heard fireworks louder than anything on New Year's Eve. I can hear where it comes from, yet not see anything, so it must be super far away.
Which is very odd. It's past midnight.
Someone either stored an omegaload of fireworks to set off illegally on a Tuesday, or some factory just went up.

Oh, forgot to mention, I figured it out. The fireworks was set off on the other side but echoed around in a weird way. Either way, it was the loudest fireworks I've ever heard.

Tabasco has gotten quite a bit more expensive. I've now ordered a set, while it's still relatively affordable.

I'd enjoy the fall of the West a whole lot more if shit wasn't getting more expensive all the time.
