Last Thursday or Friday I stopped paying attention to the news and went the whole weekend without it. No Fox News. No CNN. No Twitter. No Styxhexenhammer (not that I don't like him a lot). No riots. No new coronavirus numbers.

Instead I watched old movies and chilled out and it was good for me. I loved it. Did Trump or Biden say something stupid over the last four days? I don't even know. Didn't see it.

I think I'm going to do this every weekend from now on.

I have deliberately avoided all news since last year. If something actually important happens you will find out about it whether you want to or not. It's a very nice way to live.
