In other news, I finally got my second dream guitar, a 2004 Gibson V with a faded cherry finish. I ordered some custom parts to replace the white pickguard and headstock plate with matte black so that cherry finish sticks out more.

The tech I took it to is like 6 orders ahead and waiting just fucking sucks.

I was a dumbshit and broke the soldering on the electronics attempting to switch the parts myself. Needless to say my world ended for about 3 hours of bitter sulking as I have no iron or solder at the moment nor the expertise to get them into the configuration I want.

And so I wait...
