I don't know if I broke Spotify or if they just keep getting worse. They used to recommend albums on the home page and it was usually fairly reasonable stuff matched to what I'm listening to. Evey other day there would at least be something decent.

Now there's no recommended albums anymore. Just the "recommended for today" tab, which is stuff one has saved, and then the usual current dreck that the 85 IQ masses listen to.
But the matched album recommendations are plain gone.

That's more than fine in general. I've first noticed that two weeks ago and thought I was just in offline mode. I haven't been using that function, really the home screen altogether, up until yesterday.

Exactly because I haven't been using it but added a cool 40 albums via research of my own is why I think I've broken it.
I can do without it but it was nice that the home screen was almost exclusively stuff that was at least sort of relevant than the mess of current Nuschelkanackenrap and Pop garbage that's now over 50% of it.

What's actually annoying is that apparently the tab that notifies you about new releases of bands you follow disappeared as well.
I was relying on that to notify me about the new Demiser album.

It released August 23rd and I just remembered to check today! I could've enjoyed the most rad Black Thrash Metal this year for over a week by now!
