I have been working at the local port as a logistics manager for the past six years and it's been really challenging as hell. As professional groups, stevedores and truck drivers are one of the most complete yokels out there. What a complete idiots! They don't understand that the whole world doesn't revolve around them. I hope that port automation will quickly take the stevedores' jobs away. Working with these lowbrows made me want to kill myself. It's been a total Groundhog Day to work with these retards day after a day. Fortunately, I got a job offer through the university and I get to leave this hell. I was hired for a data science position in an EU-funded research group. Of all possible employers, it is the EU that will pay my salary from now on. WTF, I love EU now?! However, I do not know how well I will stomach to pretend to be as a leftist liberal. However, we are going on a business trip to Vietnam next week. I'm going to fuck some Vietnamese hookers on that trip, all in the name of diversity of course. That's the best cultural exchange. We'll see if I can find some local Pepsi, I will snort that off from Vietnamese prostitutes tits.

Just some mild complaint about Kaweco's pricing policy.
Kaweco is a German fountain pen brand. I vastly prefer fountain pens over ballpoint pens and was looking for another Kaweco Sport, which is a pocket pen. I have one made from aluminium but wanted one with a finer nib that is also heavier.
I decided to go with one made from brass and it's great. They also have one made from steel, bronze and sterling silver.

Most are fairly reasonably priced. You can get the plastic ones for about 20 bucks, steel and aluminium for around 50 to 70 and bronze is around 150.
The sterling silver one, however has a ridiculous asking price of 1500€. That's absolutely nuts! It's 56 grams of 925 silver, which has a market price of about 35€!

Sure, the nib is gold plated with rhodinium but it only has 14 karat. A Lamy 2000 has a 18k gold nib, also plated with rhodinium and the entire pen goes for sub 200€.

Even a Graf von Faber-Castell Classic in solid 925 silver with a two-tone, 18k gold nib, half plated with rhodinium goes for under 750€.
1500€ is absolutely insane.

Steam's compact mode (which just lists your library without all the extra shit) is kinda fucked up after their recent UI redesign. Whenever you return to the normal mode (to download an update or buy shit) and then return back to the saner compact mode it never remembers its old size and position. It will always be at least as big as your normal mode window, which kind of defeats the entire purpose. Instead you end up with a window that's like 5 times wider than it needs to.

I've got a beau's line or something on my toe that I'm 90% certain came from q mix of horrible nails and refusing to replace a pair of shoes that are worn out enough they were crushing that toenail for months. Have a followup with my doctor in a little bit less than two months, and now I'm trying to reach her to find out if I should come in earlier.

Speaking of toes, I once managed to get a blister on my big toe after a long day of walking around, except it was under the skin. You could barely see it, but I could definitely feel that there was some kind of liquid underneath.
Figuring that there wasn't much I could do about it, I decided to ignore it.
So after dealing for at least 1 week with this stupid pressure on my toe only getting worse, I decided "Fuck it, let's pop this fucker".
I basically had to scrape off skin layer by layer with a knife, since the only other option to get at this shit was to literally stab me in the toe.
Then I only really had to patch up my toe after getting rid of the horrifying amount of orange liquid spewing out of the wound.
