My dad lives in Calgary. Last time I saw him (which, to be fair, was many years ago) he wouldn't stop talking about how much he loved it there and how much better it was than England. He was only supposed to be over there for three years but he decided he likes it so much that he lives there permanently now.

My dad hates guns. Really hates them. One time I had a plastic gun, he took the thing out of my hand and smashed the thing into a thousand pieces. So I don't think the looser gun laws were really a selling point for his move to Canada.
