Rule #1 of all of these things is emphasize the rescue. You can't just show an animal in distress and say "How sad. The end." We need a happy ending or the world hates you.

Every time I see one of those faggy sad animal videos, I wish I could literally walk up and murder the fucker who made it. Either show yourself rescuing the animal or don't upload it. Animals suffer and die every day, but if you rub my nose in it without doing anything you deserve death. I know you're doing it for fucking clicks, too.

I have problems with animal rescue videos in general because I know that SOME of them were made by assholes who put the animal in a bad situation so they could make a cute video of them saving it. I'll watch one occasionally, but I'll watch very critically, looking for signs of shenanigans.

A big turn-off is if the person filming the video could easily help, but they don't. They just keep shooting,

Tonight's debate between Greg Abbott and Beto O'Rourke for the fate of Texas was about as exciting as an old lady's tea party. I doubt that anyone changed their mind. Both were slick. Abbott mentioned Joe Biden's handling of the border a lot. O'Rourke hit all of the liberal talking points perfectly.

One of Abbott's conditions was no audience in the room. Some anti-gun protesters (partly made up of Uvalde parents, claims Beto O'Rourke) planned to show up and make a scene.
