This all comes down to the CCP being paranoid of anyone or anything that could threaten their authority. They dismantle any company whose CEO is getting too powerful in their eyes, which has let to China's capitalist trying to get rid of and/or hide their wealth (for the tallest tree is the first one to get cut down).
