There are still vaccine mandates in place in the US. Novak Djokovic can't enter the country to play in the US Open because of his "vax status" (it'd be funny if he just went to the southern border). As far as I know, there are still vax requirements for some federal employees, healthcare workers, and military. The mayor of Washington DC tried to keep unvaccinated kids out of school just a few days ago until a Superior Court judge told her to get fucked.

While you can't underestimate Democrats' capacity to delude themselves and to accept "revised" versions of events, I don't think that they or their supporters, en masse, are anywhere close to ready to pivot on vaccines.

Maybe they could say that the vaccines are "better" now under Biden. Are we on Covid Vaccine 2.0 or 3.0 at this point? I haven't kept up with that.
