Don't get too excited, nothing will come out of this, even less than the Canuck truckers managed to achieve in January. The Cucknadian were well prepared to protest and had focus and purpose; our guys are spontaneously protesting and have almost everyone either mostly indifferent or absolutely against them (specially the media and the courts). Just as an example, immediately after the election, two of the biggest anti-Commie journalists who still somehow had a job on the small network that half-assedly supported Bolsonaro got fired. Few opposing voices still remain at large.
And, most importantly, in a few days, the FIFA World Cup will begin. You know how the Hueland is about football. People's attention will quickly shift to that and the absolutely shameful results of those elections will be forgotten until January, when the Soros and WEF corrupt Commie puppet is instated and proceeds to run the country even more into the ground, alongside the rest of Latin America. It's disappointing in the sense that we were getting some sort of recovery while the rest of the world is going to shit, but hey, that's nothing new in Brazilian history. Just like last time, when the 2008 crash somehow barely made a dent on us, only for the same Lula da Silva to throw us into a recession anyway by spending billions in useless projects for the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympics.
Bolsonaro lost by less than 2 million votes, and almost 30 million people abstained (keep in mind that voting is mandatory and you get a small fine if you don't), because they didn't think he was much better than Lula. Which is nonsense, Lula is definitely much worse, but my point is, much like Trump, Bolsonaro didn't help himself during his presidency. His conduct during the pandemic was a disaster and lost him the election. He picked the wrong people to the Healthcare Ministry, he spent a lot of time and energy with petty nonsense against the media, and his excuse was that the courts were against him. A lot of the criticism against him was and still is bullshit, but a lot had merit and he spent three years doing nothing but hiding behind his very enthusiastic support base. Now he's going to be jailed as soon as he loses the Presidential immunity, like Michel Temer before him. THAT's what may cause shit hit the fan, depending on how onboard with that the Army will be.
I'm quite sad for Guyana, to be frank. They found some nice oil reserves and are getting a pretty strong economic boost, but a) now Venezuela has a free path to invade them, and b) they'd probably just succumb to the Dutch Disease anyway.
On a different note, I definitely need a VPN for me and another one for my parents. They are avid Bolsonaro supporters and love watching Tiktok videos of people sharing nonsense about how "our Captain needs our help NOW!", and I'm not sure that won't be targeted in the near future. I know VPNs aren't exactly the best way to go for total anonymity, but making sure the connection goes through a VPN that has to subpoenaed out of the country should be enough to deter our lazy and ignorant authorities.
