Basically, you're seeing the exact same shift in the parties in Britain that you're seeing in America. Only difference is in Britain Labour had their 'Bernie' and Tories didn't have their 'Trump'. Well, this is why IDs should be fought against. There's a very simple solution to the problem you've posed: close the fucking borders. Voter IDs wouldn't even be necessary in the US if they didn't have massive amounts of illegals coming in.

National ID cards aren't about tracking illegals and their movements. They're all about tracking you and your movements.
