So this woman somehow gets only six months, not entirely in jail mind you, for killing a man by seeing if a bullet could pierce a dictionary by putting it next to his chest. Maybe they could have, not immediately jumped to that without some kind of test? Would it have been impossible to just fucking shoot at a dictionary at a shooting range or something before risking ending the life of the father of two? Did Pedro Ruiz get off scott free despite claiming the stunt was safe?

Some fucking book doesn't stop even a .22 LR, they did it with no less than Desert Eagle .50. It makes me sick such a retarded people had reproduced. There should be a licence to have children.

There's actually a good chance of a .50 AE stopping quite early on in paper, relatively speaking. You of course under no circumstance whatsoever point or even fire a gun at somebody you don't actually want to shoot. That should be a no-brainer.

Mad Pedro sure put his life at stake for that.
Which is madly stupid. .50 AE isn't .50 AE. Numbers matter. What laboration, how many grains, how hot is the cartridge? How many pages does the book have and how heavy is the paper? Long-barreled Deagle or regular? At what distance?
I do believe they actually did make a test shot. Let's assume the projectile stopped. Would you trust somebody, anybody, to hit that book while you're holding it in front of you? Would you trust the projectile of the next cartridge to mushroom just like that in the next book?
The reason for proper gun safety being very strict is that you can never fully predict the outcome. Accidents can always happen and if something goes wrong it goes terribly wrong.

Six months seems pretty lenient for manslaughter

So all you need to do for the near-perfect crime is to be really, really stupid?
