Sure, they could nuke it back into the Cambrian Age if they wanted, but their regular military has been more like a Channel Awesome anniversary movie so far.

Nobody is talking about nukes. Russia has air superiority and Ukraine isn't exactly Afghanistan where goatfuckers just hide in rock caves and are no worse off after the bombing.

Russia doesn't need to nuke Ukraine to make it unliveable. They can just blow up dams, cut the power lines, cut the gas, etc
