I was a Neoliberal, whatever that may mean in the US I don't know, but here it meant being a capitalistic Conservative with less of a moralistic focus on who people fuck.
As the old farts left politics, the Conservative parties were taken over by socialists and the Overton window shifted more and more left.
I'm not going to go full Miscarriage of Acchild and claim to be a "classic" liberal and that I haven't changed. I absolutely became more right-wing. But that's neither here nor there.
What that has to do with women? Two things:
a) The current Zeitgeist lead to women behaving like absolute whores in one regard and wannabe men in others. I'm not into that shit. Because I'm not gay, I like my women female. When's the last time you've seen one you'd describe as "cute"?
They behave like lads in full banter mode without any of the self-irony. Gross!
b) The constant threat of extreme, life-ruining state violence. Inviting a woman into your life is basically inviting a political commissar.
Cohabitation? Basically guarantees you'll pay alimony, despite never having been married. Absolutely crazy! She gets pregnant? You have no say in any way. Enjoy paying for a cool 21 years for a child you'll never see. Married? Alimony guaranteed and she can file for divorce at any point for no reason. What's the point of marriage?
Anything else, she can just claim you raped her or hit her or whatever. You're fucked no matter what.
The state will get up all in your shit and fuck your entire life to absolute bits. Might as well just kill her. And that's something I don't desire.
As an extra, what does the dating market even look like for me at 37yrs old, assuming I don't want a crazy age difference?
They all have (young) children or really super duper desperately want some or they are the most used up village whores you can imagine. No thanks.
I don't hate women. I'm totally fine with interacting with them in all non-romantic regards. It's just not safe to go any further. Not because of them directly. But because I'd invite the state into my life with the total controll to absolutely fuck my life up forever for no good reason.
You'd have to be foolish to invite a woman into your life willingly. The easy lay isn't worth it.
