The cops in Chicago harassed anybody who went out while the mayor wanted to stroll maskless to show dominance over the lesser people.

You think dem ghettos ever cared about lockdown restrictions?
Yes. They don't care about the violent crime and rampant drug abuse but clearly you've already forgotten how even the most liberal of police were ready to crack skulls over the most minor infraction when it came to breaking the covid rules

It's the Martin Querns philosophy of prison rule: drugs keep the inmates doped and docile so they're ok, but any action that hints towards the authorities not having control over the inmates are severely punished.

Uhh bros?
LMAO.

Is it really gouging though?

Prices went sky-high after Biden announced the boycott of Russian oil and gas. Primarily. I suppose one could also say the Ukraine War generally is driving up prices, as Russia gets hit by sanctions and the remaining oil and gas is marked up by other countries to compensate.

I mean, Biden can order the gas stations to stop raising prices if they're increasing at a faster rate than costs or whatever, but he can't do anything if the value of gas is increasing because of relative scarcity. Due primarily to the US economic sanctions of Russia.

It's not only the economic sanctions on Russia, if Wendover Productions is right:

Biden is so convincing when he talks about his humble beginnings and "I took the train everyday" and "my family talked about inflation at the dinner table". He's a great speaker and I believe him. It's not insultingly fake at all.
