Not that I know of. Even dictators at least let people ask them questions. They might suffer for the wrong one but the state trusts the dictator to answer without embarrassing himself deeply to even the most ardent supporters.

To put shit into perspective, do you think Putin would even allow his staff to remotely look like they are protecting him from uncomfortable questions? To allow looking even a tiny bit weak?
No, he'd actively single the reporter out and give the most smug answer you've ever seen and school whatever dipshit asked such a silly thing. He'd descend from his supreme position to suffer the indignity to even talk to such a spastic.
