I'm actually still shocked we have show ID to vote in Canada. Of course we legalize any immigrant that walks over the boarder, so...

Would seem to me that you all basically have voter registration, it's just automatic for you. You also don't have stuff like jury duty, do you? So there wouldn't be much reason for you not to be registered
