Late night talk shows in the US used to be funny and they made fun of every US president. Bill Clinton's infidelity launched a million jokes.

That all changed with Obama. No one wanted to ridicule the first black president. Late night talk shows eventually became left wing propaganda. College kids used to be a huge audience for late night talk shows. Today, they watch streamers and they might not even know who Jimmy Kimmel is. The late night comedy talk show is an irrelevant format these days and what we see now are the death throes.
