I have. Mostly for canned goods. Entire sections of canned goods are just gone. People are loading up in preparation for when shit gets real. Whenever the canned goods get restocked, people come along and buy a bunch.Lindsay's Liver wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 8:50 pmSo, #emptyshelvesbiden goes the hashtag on Twatter, but has anyone here in the US actually seen empty supermarket shelves lately?
Gotta admit, I haven't. Not saying that it won't happen, but everything seems fine so far here in the south.

Collapse isn't coming, it's here. Hope you enjoyed living in 1st world countries with food, water, shelter and medicine in reach. Tell your kids about the days when mere peasants could have things like meat and eggs by going to places called "supermarkets" and "restaurants". If any of you survive long enough to have children that is. (None of us will, we aren't ready for this storm.)

Says you, I'm gainfully employed.
Speaking of which, this news did come down the pipe at work a few days ago.

The school district I work in already has another supplier lined up, but we've been to told to expect shortages and increased prices.

Must suck if you depend on the school cafeteria to keep your ghetto kid fed.
I love how they sent letters to German managers and professors because their old German driver's licenses theoretically allow them to drive a truck (not that they have ever done so).Guest wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 11:08 pmPlenty of empty shelves in Bongland and, yes, difficulty getting bottled water

No, they don't. For commercial use they will have to go through a medical check, a couple of courses, a test and then wait a cool two additional months for their driver's card to arrive.
Tried to renew a fucking driver's licence recently with all the damn government buildings damn near closed? I have. I hope you have time.
So to get one of those fucks to be allowed to drive commercially, you're looking at 3 months at the very least.
Before anyone mentions it, it doesn't matter that the UK isn't in the EU anymore. Those same rules are unified in Europe, EU or not.
They can only drive a truck for private use.

This is a big part of what they mean when people say labor shortages are disrupting supply lines. Even if you have enough workers and enough resources to transport items to where they need to go, everything takes more time than it used to because of extra red tape and delays all down the chain.Kugelfisch wrote: ↑Fri Oct 22, 2021 9:04 pmFor commercial use they will have to go through a medical check, a couple of courses, a test and then wait a cool two additional months for their driver's card to arrive.

Doing anything takes for fucking ever. Been that way for the last two years. Doctor visit? Wait six months. DMV? Clear your schedule. Grocery store bread lines. Everything closes earlier and opens later IF it's still in business at all.
Add price hikes on top. Not only is the service slower and much less convenient, but it's more expensive. Delivery is taking over (despite added cost on top of added cost) because burgers are too fucking lazy to wait in a 45 minute line to eat McDick's.
And if you live in a blue city, enjoy doing everything with your cuck muzzle on, jab or no.
I swear, engaging with society in the last two years has been intolerable. Even more so when the media/normie armada feeds a constant stream of fear porn/crying that we need to make shit more inconvenient and even slower.
With the school food thing, that's just sad. A lot of poor kids rely on the school system to get at least one meal in the day. It's not even healthy food, thanks to the way Ameriga has farmed out cafeteria food as a way for corporations to get rid of low-quality sludge. But now even the slice of pizza will be taken away.
