To my international nakama: Did the election clusterfuck in Berlin reached you? For some reason they decided to have the federal election at the same days as at least three other types of elections, including a referendum about dispossessing big real estate companies.

I didn't heard a peep outside DHI, except people telling that German elections have voter registration and manual ballot counting (no electronic voting), which was a huge deal around here in June.

They send you a letter around a month before the election telling you where to go. You then either bring that letter with you or your ID card.
I don't see digital votes happening anytime soon considering how glacial our state IT infrastructure is expanding. Plus if yokels like those in Berlin can't even print enough bloody paper, I don't want to imagine how they'd fuck up software.
