They don't ignore anything. Nuclear power is needed because all that green shit is inefficient and doesn't produce enough energy. France is just the designated supplier of it's neighbours. Just like how Austria got rid of it's nuclear energy by building a brand new reactor in Hunragy right across the border. It's all a big show for the stupid masses.

Also doesn't help that the German solar cell industry is basically dead, and nobody wants to have wind turbines anywhere near his hood. Fuck, they don't even want the fuckhuge transmission towers necessary to get that green energy from the coast to Bavaria.

That shit has been going on for well more than a decade now. They make some electric crap car that's so vastly overpriced that nobody will buy it and then pretend they do everything for the future. Part of that greenwashing I mentioned.

Not to mention that recharging can be a bit tricky, seeing how there isn't any kind of larger strategy for a comprehensive recharge station infrastructure. Can't really get a fancy e-car if you can't recharge it fast enough.
I'm also pretty sure our car manufacturers only make e-cars because China is demanding that and is threatening to cut them off their market if they don't follow their demands.

Do you think these kids protesting would still do so if government regulated their food intake, our of electricity and fuel consumption? That's the only way to cut back on our carbon footprint without relying on phoney technology that violates the second rule thermo dynamics, cause solar and wind will never produce enough energy.

Also, in a typical Cucknadian hypocrisy, they've been cutting down forests (something that reduces carbon) to install solar panels that we don't need.
