They want to keep North Korea independent so they have a buffer between their own turf and US forces. They're big problem is that they let NK turn into some weird absolutistic cult monarchy we're you can't just replace the people in power with your puppets.

I didn't say China would do that now or even in the near future. I'm just saying that North Korea isn't even remotely a problem to anybody. It'll just go on as it did for the last couple of decades. I anyone ever does deal with that nation, it'll be China, though.

If it would collapse it would've done so long ago. China props them up to minimum working condition. Kim Jong-un would suffer a heart attack if he was serious about going that route. They would find yet another son and go on with the current shit show.

Any major nuclear power could wipe North Korea off the map in a second if they wanted to. Hell, China and Russia could do it right now, because they already get vilified for everything anyway. "Oh no, China killed North Korean civilians when they bombed the shit out of the country!" Cry me a river and add it to their tab of other bad shit they've done. The western powers would cry and cry about the bleeding babies and then pat China on the back behind closed doors. Hell, America droned the shit out of terrorists and civilians alike in mudslimetopia-do you think we couldn't do that in North Korea? The first nuke launched from NK at another country will be the last, and Kim Yung Blud better know it. I worry about a war between the USA and Russia or China, but NK ain't shit.

I don't think the other countries think NK is a threat to anyone who matters. They'd rather not take the time to wipe them out. Plus, having an extreme despot in his tin kingdom shouting threats turns all the attention away from other issues in that area.

NK couldn't even exist without preventing their citizens from leaving. A war with SK, which could theoretically be realized quicker than any nation could react to, would fail because the NK soldiers would throw the rifle away as soon as they cross the border.

China's investment in NK is shrinking by the year. They originally wanted Korea for it's vast mineral reserves. Now, China essentially colonized east Africa for their resource needs. It's surprising how much international land they have been buying up or buying exclusive resource rights to. NK is like a man child living in their basement that they reluctantly pay their utility billth just enough to keep it alive. If America can get South Korean and Japanese support to help get the North Korean economy and government going, it could eventually become a unified Korea again. NK has a lot to offer the world if they can tap their mostly unmolested resources. The one thing North Korea has going for it is it doesn't have retarded dark-age religious doctrine to cause it to continuously fail and they don't have plethora of tribes with superiority complexes to divide them.
