Only the Dems had a hard on for destabilizing the secular parts of the middle east after Bush. Most Trump voters voted Trump because he promised to focus on ISIS and not get involved in the war in general.

I don't have a problem with war, such as finally ousting Kim from North Korea while they're nuclear arms remains pathetic, but the middle east is an unbeatable burden. Muslim theology ensures the place will forever be a shit hole.

North Korea will never be attacked. It's a non-issue. If anything, they will just be annexed by China at some point. Nobody actually wants to have that nation and they won't attack anybody as long as China is around.

I dunno. When they try to annex shit - like with the South China Sea - they claim it has always been part of their sovereign territory. They can't really do that with North Korea, otherwise they'd probably done that decades ago.

They can do it no problem. Who's going to stop them anyway? They just don't want to.
Our whole integrating the DDR into the BRD went badly and we're STILL pumping money into the east. That was just a couple of decades of Soviets ruling over it.
North Korea? Imagine the same thing times a thousand. Whoever takes that nation over better turns it into a puppet state. Because otherwise it's so wrecked and far behind the rest of the world that integrating it into South Korea for example would ruin the entire nation over night.
China wants their little Korea man to shut the fuck up and deal with his pile of shit kingdom himself. He just better not get too inconvenient to deal with.
