Not really surprising. He "threatened" to move at least part of his troops to Poland for months. The only shocking thing is that they didn't feel like making an official announcement for when they actually did do that.

Also I don't think this will trigger a whole lot of Krauts. Our government's official state of this matter is pretty much "Just do whatever the hell you want, mate", you'd probably be hard pressed to find many Krauts of any political spectrum who doesn't want less foreign soldiers in our country, and they can't actually piss off with all of their troops because Krautland is one of their most important logistical hubs, with billions poured into their precious infrastructure.
