It's clearly and unequivocally about land grabbing, since, you know, he is currently occupying an entire country to which he laid at least three territorial claims in recent past. Putin is full of bullshit and so are the western powers. That's pretty easy to see. I think Putin and the US have both long wanted Ukraine as a puppet they could control. Neither would be satisfied with a truly neutral or free Ukraine.

But Zelenskyy should have read the fucking room. And a map. Specifically, distances between. The Burgerican empire is warlike and stupid. The Afghan withdrawal should have been a wake-up call for Ukraine to realize how the west treats its fairweather allies. Meanwhile, they had Russia right next door. They should have asked themselves the fuck they thought was going to happen if Putin got a bug up his ass about how things in Ukraine were being run? Did they expect the USA to drop paratroopers on the Kremlin? Or nukes on Moscow? Ha! The UN never do anything either.

By allying tentatively with the west, but not being part of NATO, the Ukrainian government opened a loophole to hang themselves with. The west would like to own a puppet Ukraine, but they'd be fools to risk nuclear war over it. Putin will take Ukraine and then either install his own puppet government or annex it as a territory of Russia.

Taiwan really need to take this lesson and try to hammer out some kind of formal agreement. Either with China or with NATO.

Anyway, my tinfoil theory is, US basically sold Ukraine, and in return Russia is playing the bad guy so US/EU can rationalize all sorts of bullshit from inflation to food shortage. The real target of this engineered war is middle class citizens of the west. It's just another reason to mandate all sorts of insane NWO/WEF/whatever crap (probably some kind of vegan/bug diet). I wouldn't be surprised if Zelenskiy was part of it, especially if he survives this mess. Either way, this economic sanction is total garbage bullshit and it must end.
