I read the transcript of the news conference Trump, Pence and other people from the crisis group did, I think today. I have to say, despite some obvious bullshit statements (like the one Spoony was complaining about, that he "felt" this was a pandemic before it was declared as such by WHO; I mean, c'mon, Donald, really?), I have to say that Trump's talking points were really good. Compared to what other leaders are doing around the world, he at least appears to be conducting things smoothly, and his constant reassurings that "America will come out of this very quickly" are exactly what people want to hear right now. Pretty solid performance, specially if compared to other world leaders around the globe.

His last answer about a false statement Biden made during the last debate was very solid and presidential. This crisis will either make him win on a landslide or break him to lose badly on the November election.

Bad Cheeto is not wrong in the slightest, tho. Chicoms failed numerous times at trying contain the spread of the virus since December (WHO hasn't declared it a pandemic until almost three months after the fact), has lied repeatedly about its origins, covered up evidence, refused aid from Burgerland, and is busy throwing dissidents and whistleblowers into prison over the whole affair to keep the press good.

If you still think what he said is bullshit-y, then consider the fact that the European Union has yet to initiate a travel ban from China during the entirety of the Coronavirus outbreak so far, solely due to the fact the block is China’s largest trading partner and investor. The Chicoms also exert increasing influence in nations such as Italy and throughout the continent. Suffice to say, Europe is presently the global epicenter of the pandemic as well as the source of the bulk of the infections in the USA.

That could very well be accurate. He might've felt it was a pandemic. He was prevented from giving it his full attention because that was about the time the Democrats were wasting his time trying to get rid of him

Be glad, Canada put everything on lockdown. yeah, I still have a job, but most social gathering places like clubs, bars, restaurants, etc. are either closed or only doing takeout, meaning many people have been laid off or at the very least cut back significantly. Somehow they are going to "pay us" through unemployment but I have yet to figure out how they will accomplish this without inflating our dollar or taxing me 95%. Businesses will be going bankrupt over this if Canada doesn't get its act together and end this nonsense in April when summer starts.
