The tweet above has a lot of debunkers saying that all that's gone is the code that routes users to Facebook and Instagram. They compare it to a bridge being burned. The place on the other side of the bridge is still there, but no one can get to it. Supposedly, it can be restored within a day.

Not that I know anything myself about this shit.

It's not exactly the end of the world, but coordinating everyone who can actually fix this over the internet is probably a pain in the ass.
