Wildfires are not caused by climate change. Hot air does not expose forests to fire, it is a lack of rain combined with a lack of thinning.

If we compare, for example, the annual wildfires of Canada and Finland, both rather equally cold countries, 2.5 million hectares of forest are burned each year in Canada, in Finland the number is just under 1000 hectares of forest burned and the forest area of Finland is about 5 percent of the Canadian forest area. If we do a little math here, in relation to the surface area, wildfires are more than 99% more common in Canada! Why is this so? In most countries, forests burn uncontrollably mainly because they are not managed by thinning nor do they have a forestry road network to prevent the spread of fires. Advanced forestry has practically stopped the fires in Finland.

I've talked about forest management in the past, but I'm not an expert on how forests are managed in Australia. I think you'd have to be a rather spectacular fuckup at managing forests to fuck them up as bad as we have around here. I hope you ausfags at least know to clear dead brush.

Also I don't know what you're talking about with climate change having nothing to do with it. At least theoretically, warmer/more extreme temperatures globally combined with less insulation are going to create a more dry climate that favors droughts and wildfires in summer and harsh freezes/storms in winter. I'm open to the idea climate change could have a role, but I don't think it's the sole factor and I don't think shitlibs sperging on twatter are going to fix it. They're just exploiting tragedy for political power.

The climate change debate is not if it happens but what caused it and if we can even do something about it to a significant enough degree.
That it has overall gotten a bit warmer by a few degrees is expected and measurably true. But if your car is to blame for it when a single volcano eruption throws more shit into the atmosphere than China does in five years is debatable.
What I'm more concerned with in regards to China is the fuckers polluting the seas.

Um, sorry, no. You're still going to have hurricanes and other crazy shit happen. If conditions manifest where you have another Ice Age or all the dormant volcanoes and tectonic plates burst, that's what you just have to deal with.

All the rising seas are mainly going to flood the houses of rich people who insist on living at the beach. They're also the reason why everybody's insurance rates go up after their homes inevitably get fucked, and they file a claim for what they could easily pay for.

Oh, there's no question China and Russia have fucked their shit right up with pollution. And our shit too, probably. That'll kill them a lot faster than global warming will btw.
