He wasn't wrong. GOP made massive gains in the House and would have won it back, kept the Senate and kept the Presidency. But what was more important to sacks of shit like McConnell, Graham, Kemp, Raffensperger, Ducey etc. was getting rid of Donald Trump.

Even so, in 2021 the GOP continue to make massive gains in Virginia and in New Fucking Jersey, and there are enough Democrat Congressmen retiring in time for 2022 mid-terms that a Republican recapture of the House seems likely. Pelosi's already stated she's retiring.

So an impeachment is at least possible. Of course, as we've seen with Trump, without the 2/3rds of the Senate (66 votes I believe) necessary to convict, 'impeachment' is just a fancy word for accusal. It won't go anywhere without a 2/3rds majority and that is never ever going to happen in this climate
