It doesn't matter since inflation has been an issue for a while but technology and entertainment have had a deflationary effect to mask how bad it is. It's why Millennials can't afford basic shit but have phones, their entertainment is cheap but a place to stay and day to day billth are sky high compared to previous generations. I would like to see inflation of needs rather than unnecessary goods added to it, I guarantee the graph would look bad for the past 2 decades.
