Roseanne is one of those shows. I won't call it "good," but it definitely captures something real about American families. Y'know, people that just barely have everything they need, but they're never comfortable with it and always just a bill or two away from being homeless. People who work demanding physical jobs all their lives, until they find themselves doing the same work when they're old and grey.

So just the sort of people movieblob hates.

I guess I should watch more roseanne now that I know how bitter it makes movieblob. Also that ending was really dark and miserable. I did enjoy that ending.

I definitely watched it, but the only thing I can remember aside from the basic premise and the two main character is the Halloween episode. Or at least one of the Halloween episodes. Dunno how many they made.

Married... with Children, this was not.
