This shouldn't be surprising at all since the only time you ever see a tranny in real life is something nerd related like a comic/anime convention or game development. Outside of nerd crap you will never bump into a tranny since they are that rare, and even with nerd shit they are a tiny minority since they are usually the most autistic people there and that's a mean feat.

Trannies from 20+ years ago weren't like this, you didn't see any trannies in nerd communities back then because like Kugel said it's the new "in thing" like goths, bronies and furries. I watched Matt Walsh's "What Is a Woman?" documentary that's free on Twitter for the weekend. It's a hoot. It reminds me of a piece of writing advice I heard years ago, which is that if you can't explain something in simple terms, you don't understand it.

Some of the most memorable parts are the doctors and academics who can't answer basic questions about their ideology in the field of "gender" and then get hostile in the face of that.

If you have an hour and a half to kill, I recommend it.
